Setting up your official Josplay artist profile is quick, easy, and entirely free. Let’s walk through the steps together.
1. Create your artist account
- Visit the portal: Go to Josplay artist portal
- Sign up: Input your preferred email address, first and last name, and a strong password.
- Submit your details: Click the sign up button to get started.
2. Verify your account
- Check your inbox: Right after submitting the registration form, check your email inbox immediately for an official message from Josplay.

Enter the Security Code: Copy the 6-digit verification code provided in the email and paste it into the authentication screen to verify your status

Confirm Activation: Once verified, a success message will display on your screen, confirming that your Josplay artist profile has been successfully verified.
3. Select your profile setup method
Click on “Create profile” to input your details. Your profile will also be featured on the African music Library.
4. Upload your visual media
Next, upload a clear image to use as your profile picture. The dashboard also allows you to add short media descriptions and requires that you give credit to the photographer.
5. Input your professional details
Make sure to fill in all the required metadata fields accurately including your official stage name, country of origin, primary language, date of birth, and an artist bio.

You’re all set! Your profile has been created successfully. Remember that new accounts begin in DRAFT mode and won’t appear publicly right away. Click “Go to Dashboard” to review your information and hit publish when you’re ready to go live.
