Use the Josplay editorial pitch form to submit your music for editorial playlist placements, playlist covers, or artist spotlights.

Before opening the form, ensure your song has already been distributed via the artist.josplay.com or an authorized partner distributor. If you’re not yet registered, sign up to set up your artist profile

Note: Submit only ONE release per form. Multiple releases in a single submission will not be considered. Send your pitch 2-3 weeks before your release date to give our editorial team enough time to review it.

Submission Steps

Step 1: Open the form

Open the Josplay editorial pitch form. Ensure your song has been distributed on Josplay artist portal.

Step 2: Fill in your contact details

Our curators need to know who you are and how to reach you. Enter your active email address, your distributor, your record label (if you have one), and the primary contact person’s name.

Step 3: Enter release information

 Click “Next” to move to the metadata section. Here, you will input:

• Release Format: Specify whether it is a Single, EP, or Album.
• Release Date: Ensure this matches your distributor’s data.
• Unique UPC: Double-check this code for accuracy; it connects your pitch to the actual audio file.
• Genre and Mood: Crucial Step! Be precise. Selecting the accurate genre and mood ensures your song goes to the right playlist.

Step 4: Provide pitch details

Click “Next” to define the goal of your campaign.

• Select your primary target: Editorial Placement, Playlist Cover, or Artist Spotlight.
• Specify if the track is a Brand New Release or a Re-promotion of an existing song.
• Provide your asset links: This includes a private listening link, press shots, your social media handles, and a clear, actionable marketing plan.

Step 5: Complete the Artist Spotlight section (if applicable)

If you are pitching for a spotlight feature, don’t just copy and paste a dry bio. Share your core musical influences and the unique story behind your music.

Step 6: Confirm and submit

Review all your entries. Verify your distribution status, check the authorization box confirming you own or control the rights to the music, and click “Submit.”

A copy of your completed pitch will be sent to your email automatically for your records.

Pro-Tips to Make Your Pitch Stand Out

1. Double-check that your private listening link doesn’t require a password or special permissions that might lock a curator out.
2.  Keep Bios Concise But Vivid: When filling out the Artist Spotlight section, focus on what makes your sound unique.
